Hi everyone (again)! #introduction

I'm Mairi. I'm a geeky, vaguely witchy, queer trans woman.

I enjoy veg cooking, beer brewing, gardening, climbing, running, writing, and the occasional programming.

I like scifi/fantasy (especially if it has queer/trans characters), some comics, 4X/grand strategy linux games, linguistics, and cats.

So I reread the book for this month's #sffbookclub. It's as fun and good as I remembered. I found both the genderless society and the multibodied characters like Justice of Toren interesting & well written. I expected to find it clearer on rereading which Anaander was which, but found that still somewhat confusing. Which is appropriate, since Breq/Justice of Toren didn't know exactly what was going on either.

And I got a kick out of the L'homme armé translation.
